Title: Champs Questionnaire question
Post by: Marcy Matties on September 09, 2018, 03:56:08 PM
On the Questionnaire for the announcer for the Elite ring, under where it says "Dogs age", there is a response box labeled ...  "Type a Question."   Not sure what I'm supposed to do with that ...

Just an extra question box I missed deleting

Chris,

For announcing is it possible to rotate the announcer between rings?  Either one run a day in Elite, one in Pre/DD or even by day?  As a pre-elite only dog I would appreciate that as well as others who have multiple dogs (pre and DD) in the second ring.

We understand there is an odd number of runs (7) and would be perfectly fine with the 7th run to the Elite ring.

Thank you for considering!

Kim

Itís something we can consider for future years.  Itís a little late in the game for this year to be changing the plans

Does this include Stakes dogs?  If so, I didn't get one either.

That's a relief.  I was puzzled, too.  Thinking it might take a really long time to have questions answered for every dog...

I accidentally submitted the form before completing it. Should I just re-send a form with a note stating it's the correct form to use?

Thanks,
Nicki

Nope nothing for Stakes dogs.   That's always been a request in past years.

We'll have to see how it goes this year, I think the white noise might actually be a nice thing to have with the second ring running!

I am not clear on the Pre Elite/Vet Ring.  Will there also be an announcer for this ring?  If so, I have not received a Questionnaire yet...

Thanks,

For right now ONLY the elite ring will have an announcer.

We're working through the possibility of switching announcing for the rounds, but we need to work through a few details before that happens.
If you didn't receive an email for the elite ring announcer sheet then it's best to send an email to support@nadac.com.    It's very hard to track things in the forum for who got what :)

I just checked my Junk folder....the questionnaire went there! (And I didn't think to check there until AFTER I emailed Chris!)

It would be great to give the Pre-Elite and DD dogs some "announcer love" too!  They have worked hard to get there as well.
