Title: 2020 Champs
Post by: Cheryl/Manny on December 09, 2019, 12:58:39 PM
Concerning pre elite,  if you have over 100 points in Elite reg, jumpers, chances combined then you can't run pre elite but must move up to Elite?  Are those life time points or current qualifying year?  Am I correct in my thinking?  No problem on my part just want to make sure I have the right information.  Elite Chances can be entered 2020 with up to 50 open points in regular and the rest in Elite?

Your question is a bit confusing, I think you typed Chances but meant Champs.

100 Elite Lifetime points disqualifies you from Pre-Elite Champs entry.

Elite Champs will normally require 100 Elite Regular points from the qualifying year time frame.

I believe you are correct that for 2020 you will be allowed to qualify for Elite with 50 Regular Elite and 50 Open Regular points from the qualifying year time frame.

Ed qualifications for Pre Elite has changed for 2020! They are combining Regular, Jumpers and Chance so you can't have more than 100 total elite points from these classes.

A different question - about Elite.

The Info Sheet for 2020 only lists Elite requirements in Regular:
At least 100 points must have been earned in the current qualifying year from the Regular Agility class

But says nothing about Chances or Jumpers.  Have those requirements been eliminated?  Or was that a misprint?  I'm assuming the latter, but could be wrong :)

Thanks!

It is not a misprint.  Requirements are now only from the Regular class.

If you go to https://www.nadac.com/nadac-championships/ on the right hand side there is a block that says "2020 Info Sheet".  That should be what you are looking for :)
