Sunday typical schedule?
« on: September 06, 2017, 06:54:12 AM »
Hi, what is the schedule Sunday typically like? Does everything wrap up early enough that people tend to leave and drive for a few hours, or is it a full day?
Thanks,  -Heidi in NH

First of Sunday is like the other days everyone walks and runs.  Then there is a longer break while the dogs that make it into finals are decided, and the final course is set.   The finals are run usually mid afternoon-ish.  After that, another break while the winners are determined before the awards ceremony takes place.

Some people who don't make it into the finals leave after the morning around. Others stay for the final, and others stay for the whole shebang.  Depends on how far people are driving as to how Long they stay. And if they are in the finals or not of course.

I like to stay for the whole thing, including the awards ceremony, and no longer try to get on the road Sunday night. I finish packing, get a good night's sleep after the adrenaline of the event wears off, and hit the road early Monday.

Thanks, yes, I was thinking the same thing!  I remember how great the awards ceremony was that time I went and didn't compete.
