If teams are handled like they were last year, 50% of the team's score comes from the first 5 rounds of Champs with the relay round as the other 50%. So yes, I believe all dogs need to be competing in Champs.  Team information for this year will be out after entries close.

Nee Teams Question from a Newbie: how many dogs are allowed to run in a Team event? And is it too late to sign up for that? I would LOVE to compete in Teams!!!

Chris, Which dogs are allowed to be on the same team together?  Do differing jump heights matter? How would that affect the relay runs?  Does it matter if one dog is a DD dog, one person a veteran handler, and another dog just standard?

Per an email response from Chris, all dogs on a team must be from the same division.  That stinks.

Yeah have to be in the same division.

Height doesn't matter

Along these same lines - since there are now more Jr handlers, are they (Jr. Handlers) still allowed to join a team with others in different divisions?

Linda W. Anderson - Dogs have only one fault, their lives are too short!

Absolutely!

There still aren't really enough to have much of a competition in teams, so they can go wherever they want :)

Figuring I know the answer, but I will ask anyway.  Probably not enough dogs in Stakes to make teams worthwhile?

No not really.

The larger issue there is that a lot of stakes handlers are pretty focused and don't want the extra distraction, so I know in the past even when we had plenty of teams, a lot of the teams just didn't want to participate
