DD - which ring are they running in?

Will the DD dogs be running in the Championship ring or the Pre-Elite ring at Champs? Friends with DD dogs thought they were running in Pre-Elite ring, the same as previous Champs. Thanks for the guidance.

Wondering the same! Seems like elite will be having much longer days. Thanks for all the hard work going into this!

looking at the run order being sent out - they will be in the Elite ring.  Dogs on the left of the order (in yellow) in one ring, and dogs on the right - all pre-elite - in the other ring.

I thought they were in the pre-elite ring as well because DD usually has shorter courses.  In 2017 they were the same as the pre-elite just PE had no distance challenge.

Double digit will be in the Elite Ring.

The main reasoning for DD running in Pre-Elite in past years was the course length.  But now that we're running shorter courses at Champs it's not really a concern.

In regards to time, it won't be an issue.   We used to run 260 dogs in a single ring and be done by 8PM.  so running 201 will be a piece of cake :)
