Associate benefits
« on: November 30, 2019, 09:57:04 AM »
Hello, Iím new and would like to know about associate benefits.  What Iíve found seems to be just about a savings if you have multiple dogs.  What other benefits to you get if you are an associate?  Txs.

Hi Connie,  unless things have changed and I missed it, associates get certain awards for their dogs, as they earn them of course, automatically and at no extra charge.  These are currently medals, and are awarded for things like the Versatility Award at all levels, NATCHes, Triple Superior Awards, etc.  I presume the new Silver/Gold Achievement Cups get medals too, but that is a bit of a guess on my part. Fun to get NADAC mail!

The benefits as of right now are:

1) Cheaper dog registrations.    $20 instead of $25
2) No fee for height card applications
3) Awards are mailed to you free of charge, once every 6 months

Starting in January Associates will also start receiving these benefits:

4) Title certificates will be mailed out once per month
5) Awards will be mailed out once every 3 months instead of 6

I'm also interested in an optout option for mailed certificates. Thanks!

Yup!

Once we get everything set up, we'll send out an email asking folks if they want to opt out of receiving titles in the mail.

Anything we don't send we're going to be donating to a fund for Junior Handlers to cover their expenses for coming to Champs :)

The option will remain for us to print any or all certificates ourselves if we opt out of receiving them by mail right?

Hey Maureen,

We got your email after the certificates were mailed :)

You won't receive any going forward, but we tried to get them out as soon as we had the results from the second weekend in the points file.   So a few people definitely got them even though they opted out, just because we didn't get their email soon enough
