Each of the
following are awarded annually, with separate awards for Proficient and Skilled
categories. The “year” referred to here is the NADAC Calendar year, which runs approximately
from August 1 to July 31.

Dog of the Year |
The dog that has earned the most points this year at the Elite
level, all six classes combined. A five point bonus will be given to any
round with a 100+ RI (Run Index). A ten point bonus will be given to any
round with a 100+ RI earned within a 15 point bonus box. A fifteen point bonus will be given to any
round with a 100+ RI earned within a 20 point bonus box. |

Lifetime Achievement Dog of the Year |
The dog that has earned the most points ever, all classes and
all levels combined. Bonus points
awarded as above. |

of points requirements in each of the six NADAC classes for many of the Titles
and Awards that can be earned in the Proficient Category. Awards based on
performance in the traditional NADAC jumping classes (Regular, Jumpers, and
Chances) are shown on the left, in gold. Awards for all six classes including
the three non-jumping classes (Touch N Go, Tunnelers, and Weavers) are shown on
the right, in purple. Points requirements are cumulative in each class.
Note: the Triple Superior, Triple
Triple Superior, Superior Versatility, and Triple
Superior Versatility awards cannot be earned unless the underlying
titles were earned in order – that is, in each class, the dog must not earn
qualifiers and titles at a higher level before completing the
NATCH and Versatility NATCH
progression above the levels shown below proceeds as described in the tables
above.
