1) One or more of my titles were not found. Check that you entered your registration number exactly as it appears on your card and that the title(s) in question was earned between the dates shown on the page. If you are certain there is an error, please e-mail the NADAC office for assistance. 2) What are "NATCH-Jum" and "NATCH-Tun" etc. - are they titles? These indicate that you have completed that portion of the point requirements for a NATCH. They are not actual titles, but are included in the listing to help you verify your progress. 3) There's no checkbox next to my title - I can't select it! You can only print certificates for those titles for which NADAC normally issues certificates. Some items shown (such as NATCH-Jum, NATCH-Tun) are not actual titles, they only indicate that you have completed that portion of the requirements for a NATCH or versatility award. The NATCH, versatility awards and triple-superiors are commemorated with a plaque instead of a paper certificate. 4) My certificate printed with margins and there's a date and page name or other text in the margins. Can I make it look nicer? This happens if you use your browser's print button to print the certificate. Use the Adobe reader print icon (below your browser toolbars, looks like a little printer) instead. 5) I use WebTV and I can't print a certificate. Sorry, Adobe does not make a reader that works with WebTV. 6) Help - I use <some other browser> and the printing doesn't work - I get a blank page or an error or both. We are aware of an issue which occurs wherein some configurations interpret the certificate form document type improperly. This situation produces the following error:
Although we have been unable to reproduce the problem ourselves, investigation suggests that this problem is caused by something other than your browser or our server, such as firewall, antivirus or ISP configuration which misinterprets the file while the pdf is being constructed. We suggest you either try printing from a different machine (such as a friend's computer) or request your certificate from the NADAC office using the Certificate Request Form. If you are receiving a different error and you are using some other browser, you may want to try the free Mozilla, Netscape or Firefox browser - each is available for a wide variety of Windows, Mac and Linux versions (see system requirements on each site for details) Netscape - http://channels.netscape.com/ns/browsers/default.jsp Mozilla - http://www.mozilla.org/products/mozilla1.x/ Firefox - http://www.mozilla.org/products/firefox/ 7) It looks like it's working, I see the Adobe® screen, then it goes back to the title lookup. The certificate opens in a new window. Some browsers may hide this new window behind the one with the title lookup. Minimize the lookup window to see if the certificate is behind it. If not, see question number 6 above. 8) Does this mean I won't get any certificates unless I can print them myself? No! You can request certificates for new titles from the NADAC office using the Certificate Request Form 9) I like the laminated certificates better - can I still get one? See #8 above. |
