WHEN PRINTING YOUR CERTIFICATE, print it using the PRINT ICON in ADOBE, not from your browser's toolbar.
IGNORE ANY BLUE HIGHLIGHTING WHICH MAY APPEAR BEHIND THE FORM FIELDS when your form pops up in the browser window- It's a known issue, it's been fixed for some browsers but still exists in others. They're unsightly, but they will NOT appear on your printed certificate. You may be able to turn off this highlighting by clicking the "Highlight Form" button in Adobe Reader (not an option if you're using the Chrome browser)
CHROME BROWSER USERS will also need to edit your print options to print landscaped:
Other Questions: 1) One or more of my titles were not found. Check that you entered your registration number exactly as it appears on your card and that the title(s) in question was earned between the dates shown on the page. If you are certain there is an error, please e-mail the NADAC office for assistance. 2) What are "NATCH-Jum" and "NATCH-Tun" etc. - are they titles? These indicate that you have completed that portion of the point requirements for a NATCH. They are not actual titles, but are included in the listing to help you verify your progress. 3) There's no checkbox next to my title - I can't select it! You can only print certificates for those titles for which NADAC normally issues certificates. Some items shown (such as NATCH-Jum, NATCH-Tun) are not actual titles, they only indicate that you have completed that portion of the requirements for a NATCH or versatility award. The NATCH, versatility awards and triple-superiors are commemorated with a plaque instead of a paper certificate. 4) My certificate printed with margins and/or there's a date and page name or other text in the margins. Can I make it look nicer? This happens if you use your browser's print button to print the certificate. Use the Adobe reader print icon (below your browser toolbars, looks like a little printer - there's a screenshot of it near the top of this page) to print. 5) I still can't print certificates: Please contact us with the name and version of the browser and operating system you are using, what certificate you were trying to print, and any error message you are receiving. As a workaround, either try printing from a different machine (such as a friend's computer) or request your certificate from the NADAC office using the Certificate Request Form. 6) It looks like it's working, I see the Adobe® screen, then it goes back to the title lookup. The certificate opens in a new window. Some browsers may hide this new window behind the one with the title lookup. Minimize the lookup window to see if the certificate is behind it. If not, see question number 5 above. 7) Does this mean I won't get any certificates unless I can print them myself? No! You can request certificates for new titles from the NADAC office using the Certificate Request Form 8) I like the laminated certificates you used to send better - can I still get one? See #7 above :). |
