Regular

Embedded distance challenge for Gamblers

Embedded distance challenge now a part of the class. Regular can be offered as Double Shot.

Chances

(NEW) Replaces Gamblers. A short course with distance, direction, and discrimination (DD&D) challenges.

Tunnelers

--

Can be offered as Double Shot.

Touch N Go

--

Can be offered as Double Shot.

Weavers

Single course for all levels

Different course for each level; fewer sets of weaves at the lower levels.

Wild Card

--

Became Chances; “Wild Card” no longer in use.

Double Shot

--

(NEW) Double Shot is a normal course run twice in succession, without stopping, and with only a tunnel or two connecting the last obstacle with the first. Each pass counts as a separate chance to qualify.

Bonus Boxes

--

(NEW) A course containing an optional DD&D challenge that is worth 15 qualifying points if successfully accomplished.

Dog’s Run Index (DRI)

--

(NEW) A numerical measure of your dog’s performance. Used in the calculation of the annual Top Ten awards.

Proficient Category

--

Essentially the same as the 2005 titling program, except all runs must now be un-faulted (no 5-pt Qs).

Skilled Category

--

(NEW) Owners may choose to enter dogs one jump height lower than they normally jump.

Skilled dogs may earn 5-point qualifiers in Regular if the run has five or fewer faults.

Skilled and Proficient points combine at the Novice and Open levels for titles and awards. Points at the Elite level are separated by Category – Proficient points count towards the NATCH, Skilled points count toward Medals.

Veterans, JH Points & Titles

Separate titles offered in each division.

Points in all divisions combined for titles – no longer need to transfer points from one division to another.

Veteran or Disabled Handler

No Vets division in Tunnelers, Weavers, and Touch N Go

Handlers 60 or older, or who are disabled, can receive additional 10% of course time in Tunnelers, Weavers, and Touch N Go.

Qualifying Results

Available for review on the NADACAgility list website. Beginning June 1, exhibitors will have 30 days to review their results after they are posted; after 30 days, the results will be permanently merged with the NADAC database.  Please check your results!

Move-downs

Dogs may enter and earn titles and Special Awards at any level

Once a dog has moved up to a higher level, they may move back down and earn titles but not Special Awards.

Points above titling level

Points banked.

Beginning June 1, NADAC will no longer bank points earned at higher levels if the dog does not have the lower level title in that class.

NATCH and Versatility NATCH

Jumpers and Gamblers requirement increased to 130 points each

Higher level NATCH’s now receive a numeric designation: NATCH-2, NATCH-3, etc. Likewise: Vers-NATCH-2, Vers-NATCH-3, and so forth.

Top Tens

Annual and Lifetime Top Ten Awards given

Annual awards now broken out by jump height. Top Ten by breed will also be announced.
