Hi, group.
This winter Chris and I will be working to get the NADAC Hall of Fame up and working. This has been a work in process for years and we are getting close.
I will post lists here first and I ask for the following:
If you are on the list, it would be great to have a photo of your dog or you and your dog. You must own the photo or have permission to post the photo if taken by someone else.
Please do NOT send any photos of "friends" dog if they are not on the forum. I cannot accept them.
Please direct all inquiries and photos to nadacsharon@aol.com
I will start with one group at a time. Please do not ask about groups that haven't been posted yet. We have not forgotten them, we just haven't gotten to them yet. In other words, if I post all dogs that have earned an Elite All Around, do not ask about why I haven't listed the NATCH listings yet.
If you believe that you should be on the list posted, then first check your points as listed on the NADAC web site or on your personal forum page. That will tell you where you are short of the requirements for a particular group. For instance, if you feel that you should have an Elite All Around and are not listed, check your points. If you don't see a Superior Performance title for every class, then that would be why you are not listed.
If you have friends who are not on the forum, please do not write or speak for them. It gets very complicated when there are three parties involved. If they have a question about a listing that you shared with them, then they need to join the forum and ask directly. If there are errors in anyone's points and it is correctly then it will change the order of the listings. So please do not take the first listing posted as "final" until people have had a couple weeks to review the listings.
When we have the Hall of Fame web pages ready, each category will have it's own section with the first 10 earners of the award listed on the first page and then all other earners of that award.
Each category is one that only the best can attain and each dog and handler team should be exceptionally proud of their accomplishments! Each listing is amazing and brings back so many memories from past teams and also the amazing accomplishments of the current teams.
Congratulations to everyone who made it onto any of the listings!
Well done!

This is such a cool list of some amazing teams through the years. Way to go everyone!
I just had a question of how the date was determined for earning the Elite All Around. I have gone to Sonic points and it shows that he earned all 3 levels of the All Arounds on the same day. However, when I go through the Elite Superior Titles he had finished those off several years ago and not July 2014.
Just curious. thanks

The date would be the last Superior earned that completed the title. If you find something in error, send me an email with registration number and the question.

May I say it one more time............ do not write me and ask me to check your points because you think you have earned the required titles.
YOU need to check your own points and if you find an error, then you write to me and ask me to correct something. I cannot look up every dog for every person who thinks that maybe they have met the requirements. There just aren't enough hours in the day.
Please look up your own dog's points and if they have earned a Superior Performance in every class at every level and they aren't listed, then send me a note! nadacsharon@aol.com

I just heard about the Hall of Fame while at the PAWZAZZ trial today and was told that Davy and I are on it! Will be very excited to see the list when it's ready for Prime Time again. What a neat idea ;D

Very good! Congratulations!
When Chris returns from judging this weekend, we will work on the glitch that caused some of the Superiors to not show correctly in people's records and therefore did not give them credit for all Superiors and did not show them on the listing.
When we rerun the program it will also pick up those ones earned before last weekend.
Congratulations to everyone!
Once we reload the Elite All Arounds, I will then load the Triple Superior Versatility listing and get started on that one.

What a wonderful way to honor the fantastic teams in NADAC.
Not all can ever win and hold a NADAC Championship title at the annual championship event, even though we dream we can!
We can, though, work with our teammate to earn these prestigious awards that reflect our hard work and dedication on our agility journey.
Thank you Sharon for honoring these teams in this way.

Well...this is an interesting way to find out that I apparently was one Novice Tunnelers short for Phlash to get onto any of these lists! Live and learn!
Wendy...with Phlash who says he's fine just the way he is! :-)

Thanks for compiling these lists! Very nostalgic and a bit sad to see the names of great dogs that are no longer with us.

Tomorrow I will be working on the Speed Star clubs (5 Speed Stars and 10 Speed Stars) and the MODSQUAD listing and the Achievement Cup listings.
After that I will start work on the Lifetime Points listing, NATCH club (5 NATCHes, 10 NATCHes, 15 NATCHes, 20 and more NATCHes).
Then I will work on the Championships Dogs (dogs that have won Champs 3 times or more) and the Championships Handlers (Handlers whom have won champs at least 5 times with a minimum of 3 dogs) and the Stakes dogs (any dog that has won a Stakes division at least twice, one win must be SuperStakes) and the Stakes Handlers (handler must have won a Stakes class at least three times with at least two different dogs and one win must be at the SuperStakes level).
Amazing groups of dogs!
Be sure to send in your photo of your Hall of Fame dog!
If you have a dog eligible for the Championships Dogs listing and/or you are a handler that is eligible for the Championships Handlers listing, please email me with your eligibility. Going through all of the different years to create a listing could lead to errors on my part and the best way is to send me the eligibility and I can verify it! I know the very first team to win three times was Noel Firth with Katie!!

Great lists of dogs. Being relatively new, it's fun to see how many I know. Congratulations to everyone!
-
Thank you, Sharon, Chris and anyone else who worked on getting these lists compiled! Congratulations to all who are listed on the Hall of Fame lists!!
-
Just curious if dogs will be added in the future if they meet the requirements down the road?
Thanks so much!

We are honored that Rusty has made the hall of fame in Elite all around & triple superior versatility.
Rusty has been an honest & steady competitor.
one correction is that Tony Kopas is Rusty's #08-04240 owner & handler, not Terry.
Thank you again for the honor.

Working again on the Hall of Fame pages........ it brings such amazing joy to see those names on the list! Some dogs made the HOF many, many times, but some of the most memorable are some of those "one time" earners! Any dog that makes the Hall of Fame has done such an amazing job of showing their joy of the sport and the great times they have with their handlers!! Now I need to really start pushing for handlers to send me a picture of their dogs!! Ideally an action photo showing them enjoying the sport that they did so well! Hopefully I will have a rough copy of the listing posted on the NADAC forum later today. Such a beautiful listing, almost brings tears seeing those names. Absolutely brings huge smiles!!
For those that asked about how to get into the NADAC Hall of Fame, it can be any of the following. Dogs will be listed for as many groupings as they are eligible for.
Any level of MODSQUAD
Any level of Achievement Cup
Extreme Versatility NATCH
5 or more NATCHes (combiniation of ALL NATCHes)
5 or more Platinum Speed Stars (combination of all Speed Stars)
Elite All Around Award
Triple Superior Versatility Award
10,000 or more Lifetime Points
Dogs with 3 or more wins at NADAC Championships (includes EGC World event, Triple Crown events, All Around events and all divisions of NADAC Championships)
Handlers with 5 or more wins at Championships with at least 3 different dogs.
Dogs that have won a Stakes division at least twice, one win must
be at the SuperStakes level.
Handlers that have won a Stakes division at least 3 times with at least 2 different dogs, one win must be at the SuperStakes division.

How do you want the pictures sent?
-
how cool... already see 3 of my girls on the lists. Konfetti, Charm and Roux. waiting to see if my earlier dogs (Ozzie, Abbi, and Shazta) make it in.
-
So has the list been reposted? Can't seem to find it this time. Don't have anybody on it myself but LOVED looking through all the names when the first list came out!

Do V-NATCHes count as additional NATCHes?

Do V-NATCHes count as additional NATCHes?
I am not sure what you mean as far as "V-NATCH". If you mean Versatility NATCH, then yes, most definitely a Vers-NATCH is considered an additional NATCH. All NATCHes count in the total, NATCHes, Versatility NATCHes, and Extreme NATCHes.

Yes, I did mean versatility NATCHes.

Yes, I did mean versatility NATCHes.
BTW Anne, Tyler is the first dog in NADAC history to earn 5 NATCHes and also the first to earn 10 NATCHes!! He will be listed first in both of those categories!
Congrats to Flat Coated Retriever Tyler and his owners Ron and Anne Etherton!!

Hooray for Tyler. I can still remember Tyler, Meg and Queenie doing a DAM Tournament together quite successfully!
