What a great 5 days I just spent with Sunny Williams at NADM in Tennessee. The 2 day seminar was so informative and Sunny really has a way with making each exercise fit the individual dog/handler teams. Then we had 3 days of awesome courses to run and TRY to put in to practice all we had learned. If you ever get a chance to attend one of Sunny's seminars, GO!! You won't be disappointed! I can still hear her in my head, "Just breathe!"

The trial site was gorgeous, and altogether it was just a very fun 5 days!
Would love to have more,

Couldn't agree more with Linda and Karin. We had a blast and we can't wait to do it again!

I third what everyone has said above, Sunny was good fun and gave me really good stuff to take home and work on - I'm trying to just let my dogs go and not run frantically!!! I really need to thank her for all her patience with me and my reactive girl too.

I am behind, behind, behind. Never A Dull Moment Agility was pleased to be able to have Sunny Williams for a Distance Seminar prior to our last trial. WOW! Her new nickname is "Sunny "side-up" Williams because she has this warm, funny way of telling you to "let it go". Amazing how much crap we carry into the ring with us!!
What all did I learn? That big distances are worked up to, but you give the same body language. If you want a go, your legs and movement need to back up your verbal.
It was really interesting to watch all the seminar participants put their learning to use on Friday and Saturday. The Q rate and the speed of the dogs was amazing. Sunday was nothing to write home about, but we and our dogs were fried by then!
Linda is correct. If you have the opportunity to get in a seminar with Sunny, don't hold back. She's great!
THANKS Sunny-side-up!

I loved this seminar and really learned a lot. I'm currently carrying my seminar notes around on my phone so I can look at them wherever I am. I would take another of Sunny's seminars in a minute. She was unfailingly positive, calm, and patient, and tailored her advice to our specific situations. It was a little like The Zen of Distance. :) Who knew that less could be so much more? Thank You! And thanks also to our wonderful hosts Mary and Gayle at NADM, who took such good care of us during our stay.

Leave your shit with your leash....to paraphrase. The proof is in the pudding, Sunny improved our distance by improving my handing. The dogs get it... I am the issue. FYI Sunny, if you are reading this, Emma flipped me the dew claw only once today and has ran fast and honest with every run since!!!! Thank you!!
