Title: "Advice!"
Post by: Smitty on June 15, 2017, 06:39:10 PM
Chris if my older dog is qualified for pre-elite and elite, how long do I have to decide which one to run her in? Am I correct that as long as she does not get 100 points in elite she will not be forced to run elite? If we decide to do pre-elite, when would it be safe to get more regular Q's? This is our first Champs and all the talk about how huge the elite course is and the large amount of obstacles has me freaking out, my dog may be able to handle elite but with my physical and medical issues I'm not sure I can!

August 15th is when we like to have all the divisions finalized and done :)

You're also correct about the 100 point rule.  Long as you don't go over you can run pre elite.

The elite courses aren't too bad.  There will be a couple long ones.   But the average length isn't too grueling :)

Chris if I decide to run pre-elite with her, at what time could I start getting points in elite regular again working towards our first natch without being forced into elite at champs?
