Congratulations to everyone!

Chris, you have the miniature schnauzers broken into two breeds. One called schnauzer-miniature and one called miniature schnauzer. I have dogs in both classes, amusingly enough. Any chance of merging those? I'm sure they are the same breed :)

Very cool! Thanks Chris, and thanks for the heads up. Congratulations to everyone! Lots of fun teams and lots of dogs and people I know on these lists.
-
Thanks Chris!! I don't see Chances in the breeds, but it's in the top 10.
Thanks

According to the Exhibitor’s Handbook:
“Each year we have a listing for Top Ten Dogs by breed and Top Ten Dogs by class. A minimum of 30 Elite level points are needed for inclusion on the Top Ten lists.“
If this is a correct statement, or are there other stipulations? What is the process to request a review of an incorrect entry?

Ruh Roh!
That's what I get for being confident that we fixed all the breed issues when we did top ten last year.
I'll get them merged, and I'll probably go back through everything as well. I didn't even look for that issue even though it was a known one because it should have gotten fixed last year

30 points in Elite will get you on the list IF there isn't competition. It's still a top ten list, so any dogs beyond those top ten aren't listed.
The numbering also accounts for ten actual dogs, not ten numbered placements.
So when we have a tie that counts for two spots.
Fluffy 150 points
Fido 150 points
Both of those dogs would get first place, but the next number would actually start at 3rd place since the two dogs tied.
If you believe there is an error just shoot an email to Support@nadac.com and we can definitely take a look!
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Love the list. There are two groups of Papillons listed, one is spelled Papillion and the second with the correct spelling is Papillon.
-
This is aweseome Chris!
-
Belgian Shepherd is the same as Belgian Sheepdog.
-
Congrats to everyone on the Top Ten lists!

Belgian Shepherd is the same as Belgian Sheepdog.
We will get those combined. But we'll have to contact those owners first as Belgian Sheepdog is different from Belgian Shepherd. In most European countries Belgian Shepherd is split into multiple categories:
Groenendael
Malinois
Lakinois
Tervuren
So really it just depends on how you're classifying yourself.

Last year I was able to print a certificate noting Latte's placement in the Top Ten. I couldn't figure out how to do that this year. Is it possible? How do I do it?

If you go to nadac.com and click on the Titles and Awards Tab and then scroll down and click on NADAC Special Awards (Beta) you can choose the award you want to print and then print or download it.
However, the 2017 Top Ten isn't listed yet. I'm sure Chris wants to give himself time to find and fix any current issues before having this available on that page.

thanks, will wait a while and check there

Ditto what Marcy said.
Inevitably there are always some fixes that need to be done. Once those are all out of the way we'll get the certificates put up :)
-
Chris, thank you for all the work! I hate to mention one more bug that I see but it sounds like you need to contact the owner anyway. There is a single schnauzer listed as only "schnauzer" (and not by breed). I happen to know that dog and he is a miniature (you know him too, he ran at the Kansas show that you put on) but I know you will want to contact the owner to verify so I'm just mentioning it :) I do appreciate that my miniature schnauzers are all back into one breed now!

Did not know there were certificates too! Can we print out 2016 still also? Jack isn’t running elite anymore but 2016’s would be nice to have in his scrapbook.

Finding my dog on one of those lists was a *really* pleasant surprise! Thank you for the work and making my day!

They're listed for a few years back.

Absolutely!
They should show up in your awards listings.
If there are any issues just send me an email and we can get it fixed :)

Hey, Chris? Could you let us know when the 2017 certificates should be there? (Or someone else who happens to notice them appearing, first?)

It seems we've gotten the majority of the hiccups fixed. So we'll probably put them up by Thursday :)

Thank you for the email notification and the certificates, I love the new design for awards certificates! Very pretty and colorful!

Sorry for chiming in so late -but I saw something today that I have not noticed before. In the Breed Top 10 there is both "Dachshund" and "Longhaired Dachshund". I believe this should be all under Dachshund, at least that was my understanding when I registered my dog 7 years ago (a miniature long-haired dachshund).
Not a big rush to resolve this, since there are not 10 dachshunds of any coat running Elite :) But, I have a mini-long to register later this year - so would like to know what the correct breed choice is.
Thank you,
Brenda

That is an error that we will correct right now!
