Post by: Chris Nelson on August 08, 2018, 08:52:36 AM
Hey all,

Here is a list of the dogs entered so far, useful if you're looking for team mates and need to know what division everyone is in :)

Chris, how do we fix an error?  One of my dogs has the wrong last name (she's listed as Mc rather than McGovern).  Thanks!!

Does a dog need to be elite to be in double digit?

do you combine vet dogs and vet handlers that are in the same size category?

Thanks!

Double Digit does follow the Elite point requirements.

This will be the first year that Vet dogs and Vet handlers are split into separate divisions.

For TEAM, can a vet dog be on the same team with a vet handler dog?

Chris,

I have a question.    Archer is in Large pre-elite, but I am a VH.    Is there a separate class for VH and VD in pre-elite?

So do elite vet dog teams need to be in the same size?

No.  Just in the same category of Elite Vet Dog.  Size/jump height doesn't matter.

Thanks you

If youíre in the standard large dog group you could have dogs jumping either 16 as skilled dogs or 20 as proficient.

Pre elite does not have the sub divisions of elite.

Itís purely by dogs size.

Good question!

With this year the divisions being split, I would say no.

The big grump last year was about younger handlers running older dogs and competing against older handlers with younger dogs.   So allowing that to happen in team would just be the same issue for those folks.

Chris, I emailed you with a team question.  Should I post it here instead?  Thanks!

Hi Chris,

Michelle Ooms entered Trust in Pre Elite and is not on the list of dogs entered in Championships. She did receive a confirmation she entered July 31.

I believe Trust should be listed now
