Title: VT Courses
Post by: Jeff Lyons on July 20, 2019, 04:32:24 PM
Are the VT courses going to be updated?  The ones that are on the website say that they are only good through July 4.

Thank you.

I have refreshed, and refreshed, when I look at the courses tab I still get:

Current VT Courses
Videos must be submitted within 5 days after the date you ran the course

Courses that may be run from June 6th, 2018 through July 4th, 2018
0810-Merinda
0810-Wicket
0810-Keen_BR
0810-Keen_HP
0710-Leaf_BR
0710-Leaf_HP

Does anybody else have this problem?

In response to Jeff Lyons....Yes, it depends on which appliance I use: computer, iPad, phone etc. It didnít matter how many times I refreshed the computer either but knew that wasnít the correct names of courses so went to my android phone and it showed Blake, Noodle etc...

In the past if new courses werenít put up you could still run the existing ones. Iíd assume that would hold true in this case especially if they canít get the website fixed till the beginning of next week. Sandy Langan

That's so bizarre, but it could be based on what device you're using? I really have no idea.

yes they usually extend the dates when something happens, but this is a Chris question.

Hopefully, this will all be resolved soon. But it looks more like it will be worked on Monday when everyone is back.

NADAC just published a fix for the point history (on Facebook) which takes you to the old site. The VT courses on the old site are the ones that Jeff is seeing.

I did a google search for nadac, followed that link, a arrived at the new site.

Just use the existing courses until new ones are put up.   Marj and I are aware and will know when you submit your courses for the next while.   Thanks

Jeannie

There were actually two issues. The "valid through" date on the site was incorrect, showing August 2 when it should have been August 7. Not sure how that happened, but perhaps it was related to the other server issues that were occurring. Courses do not expire before the first Wednesday of the month.
The other issue was the display of courses expiring July 4th. For whatever reason the browser wouldn't refresh the page from the server and instead used a cached copy of the web page.
