I'm trying to be patient and wait to see the video from the live chat, but I'm really curious after reading about the swap options going away about something called "class listings". Guess there's some changes to them (I don't know exactly what a class listing is anyway, so I'm doubly curious!) that we get to look forward to. Does anyone have a minute to let me know what this is about?
Many thanks in advance from someone who doesn't do Facebook and is therefore out of the loop. :)

Below is the very UNOFFICIAL notes that I took from the video. So in no way is this to be taken as "gospel" - but maybe it will give you an idea of what is to come ...
2 categories of classes:
NATCH group: Regular, Chances, Jumpers (will eventually include Gamblers because of the jumps. and that doesn’t mean Gamblers will be required for a NATCH - just that it will be in the Natch “group.”
Games group: Tunnelers, TnGo, Weavers, Hoopers, Barrelers, Gamblers
3 “types” of trials:
Double Run Format
Single Run Format
Mixed Run Format
** no longer HAVE to offer Regular on a day if you don’t want to
** no longer a limit on # of classes with Jumpers per day
** no longer limitations on Hoopers/Barrelers/Gamblers in the same trial
** only limitations are the #s from each group - Natch and Games. And actually the only “limitation” is the “no more than 4” in the Natch group
** since a club can basically offer whatever they want, there will be no more “swap” option"
Double Run:
up to 8 classes a day
up to 4 (doesn’t have to be 4 - but no more than 4) come from the NATCH group
other 4 come from the Games group
Single Run Format:
up to 7 classes a day
up to 4 classes from Natch group
other 3 from Games group
“old” style - Reg/reverse Reg and single runs of whatever else you want to include
Mixed Run Format:
up to 7 classes a day
up to 4 classes from Natch group
other 3 from Games group
Can have whatever mix of double run and single run that you want

Kyle,
I'll give it a shot in hopes that it helps it stick in my brain.
Classes are divided into two groups.
NATCH Classes - Regular, Jumpers & Chances
Games Classes - Tunnelers, Touch-N-Go,Weavers, Hoopers, Barrelers & Gamblers (this last one has jumps and will likely move to the NATCH group sometime in the future (over a year likely))
You can't offer 3 Rds of anything per day.
You can only offer up to 4 Rds of NATCH Classes per day. The remainder must come from the Games group.
3 Types of Trials - Standard, Double Run or Mixed
Standard Format per day - 2 Rds of Regular (It would reverse between Rds 1 & 2, with different course 2nd day), 1 Rd ea. anything else. Maximum of 7 Rds per day.
Double Run Format per day - Everything is built and walked once, run twice if offered more than once. 2nd Day Regular would be the reverse of 1st day. If offered, 2 Rds Jumpers would run one day and 2 rds Chances the other, as you are limited to 4 Rds of NATCH Classes per day. Anything else would come from the Games group. Maximum of 8 Rds per day.
Mixed Format per day - You could offer 2 Rds of Regular, with the 2nd being the reverse of the 1st. There would be a totally new Regular course on the 2nd day, which would reverse as well if offered twice. You could then do double run on anything else you are offering 2 of. Max of 7 Rds per day.
New premium will be required to reflect which rounds are being run in which fashion.
If I missed anything, hopefully someone can add or correct.

LOL Guess I should have waited a few minutes, Marcy always has much more concise responses.

You must have started typing your responses at the same time!!!!!

I would like to know why for a mixed run trial a club is only allowed to offer 7 runs, but on a double run trial, clubs can offer 8 runs per day.

My guess would be course builds. Double run means less course building, fewer walk throughs, less time.

My guess would be because it would represent an additional course build if your 7th and 8th courses were different. You can do double run and offer 8 because it's not another complete build.

This makes sense, but why shouldn't that be up to the club?

Maybe (from personal point of view) because you would be asking a judge to build (and design) more courses for each day. One of the reasons clubs are allowed to have 8 courses a day is because they are double run and don't put an undue hardship on course builders/judges.

Many, many thanks to Marcy and Dave for their excellent explanations! Very interesting stuff. Now I know the "what" I will be interested to hear the "why", probably when the video comes out. :)
Thanks again!!

Yeah I was wondering if judges are going to be more choosy about assignments and format since they now have to design their own courses. I guess if they have assignments in different regions with same size rings they can re-use courses. I'm hoping it's not going to be tougher to get judges.
I'm also guessing they aren't leaving the choice up to clubs to offer 8 runs, not double run, because NADAC is the one who gets an earful when trials run long.
