View the most recent posts on the forum

Hi Chris,

I am on another forum that uses this same format and I love it! Thank you again for setting this up.

On the other forum, there is a choice at the top called "View the most recent posts on the forum". When you click it, it shows the contents of the entire posts, not just the subject lines, in reverse chronological order.  This works really well because you can actually read all the posts on one page (or two or three depending on how busy the forum is).  You don't have to click around, but you can click on a thread to see it if you want.  Any chance we could have this feature?

We can re enable it and see what everyone thinks.  A few people didn't like it because it was kinda hard to follow, just reading the post without knowing what context it was in.

It will be at the very bottom of the main page.  under 'forum stats'.   'View most recent post on the forum'

I guess it's personal preference. I'm one of those people that Chris mentioned that thinks it's hard to follow. Also, I don't necessarily *want* to see every post in the forum. I mean, I don't have the time! There are things that I can't read because of hours in the day.
That's why I much prefer the "Show unread posts..." on the left sidebar. I can scan it and quickly choose what I want to read.
