NADACrescue

Hi, group.
Just a short update on NADACrescue.  We have a new rescued border terrier that is an absolute doll that came in last week from Texas.  This girl should have been in dire need, but she was tagged by border terrier rescue and then no one ever came for her.  Once a dog is "tagged" by a breed group, they cannot be placed in "general adoption" so they have no chance to be adopted by anyone who saw here.   Then when border terrier rescue never came for her (twice!), she was moved directly to pending EU.  Some great Texas people went to bat for her and she got out and was flown to Portland and Becky picked her up.  She is very friendly to people and other dogs and she should have never been in trouble!!

This next week we will get several more from Texas from another border collie surrender.  These are very nice dogs and just need a chance to be cared for and loved!  One is a four year old female and a 1 1/2 year old male.  Both of those are purebred border collies.  There might be a gorgeous red merle aussie male if no one steps up to save him soon.  And there is a scared female border collie that is very pretty and has lots of speckles on her legs and head......... very pretty!  The first two borders are not fearful and scared and neither is the red aussie.  There will be two coming for sure and the others I am hoping that local rescue will be able to find room for them.  All of the other border collies and aussies have been spoken for that were taken in and that leaves the two black and white border collies, the red merle aussie and the speckled border collie stray that have not been spoken for yet.

Whichever ones come our way, we will post pictures and let you know!  Maybe a lucky person and a lucky dog can get together and bring joy and happiness to each other this holiday season!!

Update!!   Billie Rosen is looking into a possible home for the female border terrier!!  Thank you, Billie, whether this turns out as a permanent home or doesn't, thanks for trying to help her find a new home!

This is a "leggy" border terrier and would make an awesome agility dog also!  So if this first home doesn't work out, let me know if you are looking for a perfect border terrier!
