2013 Rescue Number Bidding: The Real First Bid
« on: December 01, 2012, 03:15:13 PM »
Ermmm . . . Sharon . . .

Me thinks that Ms. Becky has been busy, birthday girl and all; but I sent this to Becky on November 21st . . .

<<    . . . and BTW, since you are generally in charge of such stuff . . .

When it comes to this year's registration number auction for the
rescue kids . . . our initial bid for 13-01313 is $113.13 . . .

                                                    Hugs, wags & luvs,

                                                                    Al,
Barb, Dred, Gael & Pellinore>>

To wit, Becky replied . . .

<<GREAT number you picked out!  Made me smile.  More will be posted on
the number bidding soon.>>

Please feel free to post this to the forum as well . . .

Al, Barb & The Castle Camelot Kids . . . in it to win it!!!

I would like to bid $50 for 13-22811 for Clipper.
Thanks,
Karin Moll & Clipper

The bids have to be on valid numbers........ so the first two numbers would be 13 and the first two "after" the dash have to be a number from 1 to 12 (for the twelve months of the year) so one can bid on 13-01001 through 13-12999

If we have bid on a number when do we send in the money?  Do we use the online form?

Hi Anne,
In the past, we wait until New Year's Eve at midnight to cut off the number bidding.  I could get interesting if more than one person wants a particular number!

Hello,

Not many people bidding on numbers this year. I thought it would be crazy bidding this year...so many people got new pups! Do you think the forum set-up is hurting the bids? I know that I keep finding threads that started a month or so ago that I didn't even see previously. Just wondering out loud...
