double e-mail notification

I've been receiving duplicate e-mail notifications for new topics/replys.  I don't want to undo that feature, but is there a way to only get a single copy?

Chris is on the road........ he was just here in Bend this morning and headed back to Idaho.... I know that someone else had the same problem and it was how they had their personal settings.. maybe for email AND notifications??

Chris can let us know when he lands on solid ground... but I do know that it has to do with the individual people's settings and how they have it set up.

I modified a couple settings in your profile.  Let me know if it keeps happening and I will dig deeper.
