New stuff. Testing
« on: October 19, 2013, 05:54:35 PM »
Howdy everyone,

Just finished up some tweaks to the points listing page.   Well at least in theory.

Go to this page:
http://www.nadacforum.com/Points2.php

And check it out.

Let me know if you find any glitches, issues or discrepancies in when certain titles were earned..

Things to keep in mind:

This is just a test, this isn't the real point file.

Everything on this page is VERIFIED and you have earned it.

Let me know whatcha think

Wow -- way cool, Chris!  And I didn't even realize Tux had earned his Open Versatility Award but sure enough he did!  ;D  (I was so busy trying to get him qualified for Championships I wasn't paying attention to this!)

Very handy!!

Hi Chris,
I think it's GREAT!!!!  ;D   The titles all look correct.  And now I don't have to add points with a calculator anymore!!!   :D  However, my addition doesn't match the total points listed at the top left for both Whisk and Ryder.  Your plan gives both of them more than my calculator did.  Whisk is listed at 4085 total points and I added up to 3910.  Ryder was listed as 3040 and  I added up to 2955.  But I'll take your numbers.  More is sometimes better... And I'm about positive the computer program adding is more accurate than my pencil and paper method.   :o
Anyway, GOOD JOB!!!

Yep, the number listed should be correct!!  I tested a lot of them and didn't find any errors.

Thank you, Sharon.  I can now throw out my paper & pencil record.  It's all right there!  I truly appreciate all the continual improvements you and the crew are making to NADAC.

Total points includes EGC too.  Maybe that's where the discrepancy lies?

Chris,  this is great.  It is simple and informative.  I didn't know Maya had earned VERS NATCH 2.

Thanks!

Lifetime points has added in EGC for the past year, so that shouldn't cause any discrepancies.

Computers are just a lot more accurate!!

I think part of my discrepancy is that I hadn't added in their EGC points.  I think the other part of the discrepancy has to do with human error - mine!
Thanks for helping to clear it up for me.

Just checked Dazzle's points and love seeing the totals at the top.  Hadn't realized she'd earned Novice Versatility.  Nice surprise.
Thanks for putting this together.
