2013 Championships?

We were told during a trial briefing last month that an announcement had been made that the contract was signed and Springfield IL was set for 2013. If this is true can this please be confirmed? And if so what are the dates?

...and regardless of location & exact dates, when does the qualifying period for 2013 Championships start?

Ehh not quite.

We are working on it.   But to my knowledge nothing has been set in stone.

I "think" that the qualifying period is August 1 to August 1 of the year.  Can you confirm Chris?

I'm jumping in early on this one . . .

PLEASE, let us ALL refrain from "lobbying" for locations . . .

Sharon and NADAC have ALWAYS done an extraordinary job of rotating Championships locations to be fair to ALL NADAC exhibitors . . . given available dates and suitable locations . . .

There is SO MUCH going on in NADAC now . . . moving from OK to CA . . . and now to to OR . . .

Chris is working his cowboy buns off creating a site that will eventually replace the Yahoo! list . . . YAY!!!

I'm pretty certain that the qualification period hasn't changed from prior years . . . August to August . . .

Champs are SPECIAL . . . if you wish to attend, plan on traveling a couple of thousand miles . . . if it's less than that, CELEBRATE!!!

. . . but PLEASE, give Sharon and her staff the time to complete the 2012 Championships and their relocations BEFORE ANYONE starts asking questions about 2013 . . .

Really, how many of us know what we'll be doing 3 months from now, let alone 18 months from now!!!  For all I know, I may be dead, creamated . . . and providing fertilizer for our flower beds! <LOL>  I hear that bone meal is good for many plants! <ROTFLMAO>

Scratch my previous statement!

I just checked with the big boss and it is confirmed that we are returning to Springfield in 2013 :)

Hooray!!!  When the dates (or even the range) can be announced, can you share them?  I do actually plan that far in advance as I have to set my teaching schedules pretty early.
