Today's raffle donation?  A basket worth $75 to $100 from Canines by Karen!  Karen has only really good stuff for our dogs so this is sure to be a great item.  Thank you so much, Karen Echternacht...you rock, girl!

On this Thanksgiving, one thing I am thankful for is the wonderful generous spirit of the NADAC community.  Today's donation is a one-day free entry from Tails Up Agility Club in Chesapeake, Virginia.  They are preparing a basket for the raffle, too!  Wow...you all rock!  Thank you Tails Up!

Every time I think we've heard from everyone who wants to donate, someone else steps up and proves me wrong.  Today we have a half-price entry for one dog to an In The Zone trial!  Holy cow, I am definitely going to have to buy more tickets!  Thank you, Lisa Bonker...you rock!

So...I really thought we were done...not so!  I just heard from Pris Warnock and CIA, Canines in Action, in Maryland is donating a one-day entry to one of their future trials!  Folks better be getting your money together for those raffle tickets!  Thank you so much, Pris and CIA!

It just keeps getting better!  I am hearing from so many people who are donating items to the raffle.  We've got a basket coming from Pawzazz, a knitted item or two from Karen Kelly, embroidery and jewelery from Deb Burdick, a wine basket from Susan Fitts-Sibilia, a photo shoot from Diane Lewis...wow!  Everyone has just been incredibly generous.

It's not too late to get those tickets...come on, you know you want them!  PayPal NADACToysForTots@bellsouth.net, email me...we will get you set.  Thanks everyone!

Not to be outdone, this is from the Big Elf, Ron Young...

A late-breaking addition to the Toys for Tots Fundraising thanks to Willy Goguen - A week (June 21-28) at Top o' th' Dune in North Topsail Beach. We will be offering this in a silent auction format to be consistent with how it has been offered for other charities. You do not have to be present to win but do NOT bid by commenting here. You can privately send me your bids and they can be added to the silent bid sheet at the trial. The winner will be announced Sunday afternoon. Bidding will start at $900 which is 1/2 the rental rate for that timeframe.
Top o' th' Dune
4 bedrooms (2 queen, 1 twin bunk, 1 double). All brand new mattresses and box springs as of Feb. 2013. 2 1/2 baths, hot/cold shower in garage/basement, cold shower on deck. Open kitchen/living area, beautiful sunroom. Washer/dryer in garage/basement.

You can email Ron if you wish to bid...agildawg@bellsouth.net.  Gee whiz, I never knew how many beachcombers were around here!  Thanks everyone!

Huge thank you to everyone who donated to the raffle.  We had over 100 items...the tables were overflowing and it was awesome!  The NADAC community has some of the most generous people I know, and when you hear Ron talk about how large of an area the TFT trial helps to serve, it is almost unbelievable.  I think he said children as far away as Georgia benefitted last year.  How cool is that?

I am so thankful that looking for something to do with my dog ended up brining NADAC into my life...it is a real blessing to be part of such a wonderful group.  I hope all of you get just what you want for Christmas and wake up just a little happier for having helped bring some joy into the lives of so many kids on Christmas morning!
