KoAnne's Wish Come True, aka "Hope", passed away yesterday. Her liver failed along with a stroke and her body just gave way. I already miss her tremendously. She was my first Keeshond to have done exceptionally well in all venues of agility and was great at distance work. She was my first Keeshond who loved to play ball and retrieve. We got to do Purina Incredible Dog Challenge and Great Outdoor Games because of her speed and because she was not one of the normal "small" breeds at the time to do agility with. She won NADAC Championships 3 times. She has numerous titles: MACH in AKC, CATCH-3 in CPE, ADCH-Gold in USDAA, ATCH-SP in ASCA, UATCH in UKC, NATCH-24 and V-NATCH-18 in NADAC. Although, she ran well in many agility venues, I think she really liked the NADAC venue the best since there was more spacing between obstacles, the courses were more logical to her, and distance between the obstacles seemed to suit her stride. She also liked to work at a distance. My heart is currently filled with sadness; but I have to move on and play with those who I still have. Hoping that another special young adult/pup Keeshond girl will find me someday as did Hope at 9 months.
"Hope" -- KoAnne's Wish Come True -- 08/17/1998 - 12/02/2013 -- lived a long and active live. I will miss your companionship and your bark!
Thank you for being part of my life,
