Some dogs do fine going directly from their crating area to the ring, while others need some lead-in time. If your dog needs some extra attention prior to entering the ring, be sure to allow yourself enough time to potty him/her, warm up, relax and connect before your turn.
By checking the gate sheet, you’ll be aware of when your run is and you can allow yourself sufficient time to prepare both you and your dog before entering the ring.
