Hosting an outdoor April trial in Northeast Wisconsin takes a serious sense of adventure. I'll admit I was a bit hesitant when I sent in the application last year, but as of now it looks like a
REALLY GOOD IDEA! AccuWeather.com says the April 25-27 weekend will be around 60 with an overcast sky ... perfect weather to run dogs comfortably!
You are welcome to join us at Dogwood Acres, just a couple hours north of the Illinois border (near Appleton, WI) overlooking a peaceful rural valley. Full accommodations are available for camping & RV's on site, nice affordable hotels only 15 minutes away in New London and Appleton, and "this weekend only" Bernie Doyle officiating the festivities! Without question - our regular group of participants "rock" the fun & hospitality and we would love to include you in our guest list for this first trial of the year!
If you check out the K9 Corps Agility website
http://K9corps.org, you can enter online using Click-2-Run, see our full trial schedule for the year, and you'll also see updated pictures out our back window ... overlooking the mostly snow-free rings. I will continue to update as the trees and plant material come in to bloom, the last of the snow melts and the lush green running surface becomes a perfect carpet for you and your dog.
Hope to see you soon!
