Hi, competitors!
Get your friends together and form a Team for the upcoming Top Teams in one or all three of the NADAC class groups!
We will be tracking team scores for the "JC Teams" (jumping classes) which will consist of the top five yearly scores for all three team members in the Regular and Jumpers classes. Each team member will have 5 jumpers scores and five Regular Agility scores used for scoring. Their scores will come from the Elite level and their run index will be used to calculate scores.
We will be tracking team scores for the "TW Teams" (Touch N Go/Weavers classes) which will consist of the top five yearly scores for all three team members in the Touch N Go and Weavers classes. Each team member will have 5 Touch N Go scores and five Weavers scores used for scoring. Their scores will come from the Elite level and their run index will be used to calculate scores.
We will be tracking team scores for the "EGC Teams" (Extreme Barrelers and Extreme Hoopers classes) which will consist of the top five yearly scores for all three team members in the Extreme Barrelers and Extreme Hoopers classes. Each team member will have 5 Extreme Barrelers scores and five Extreme Hoopers scores used for scoring. Their scores will come from the Elite level and their run index will be used to calculate scores.
We have chosen two classes for each Team grouping that shows a diversity of skills within each group and within each class.
Scores for the year 2014 will be calculated from May 1st to Dec. 31st. For future years the scores will be used from January 1 to December 31. New team totals will be posted to the forum and NADAC web site every two weeks.
The tracking of scores will cost $25 per dog per team. Total cost per team is $75 per team group.
A dog can be on a different team for each group. So a dog could have different team members for the JC team than what they have for an EGC team or a TW team.
A dog does not have to be on all types of teams, they could be on one team only if desired.
A team will receive a 5 point bonus for each 15 point bonus run by a team member. A team will receive a 10 point bonus for each 20 point bonus run by a team member, 15 for a 25 point run, 20 for a 30 point run. So the team members score would be run index plus their bonus points.
If a Regular run has faults, then 5 points will be deducted from the run index.
Teams need to submit team names for each group.
A team could consist of three dogs all handled by the same person.
A team may have a maximum of one substitution during the year with a veterinary letter stating that one dog is unable to compete in agility. A second substitution is not allowed.
Find some friends and join a team! Team names are required, team shirts are encouraged!!
