All About Animals! is excited to announce that we will be hosting an EGC trial on June 21-22. The trial will start at 2 PM on Saturday and on 8:00 AM on Sunday. This will give everyone ample time to travel to this event. This will be held in our usual location in the indoor horse arena in Dover, DE and located not far from major routes. The surface is a sand/rubber mix and there is plenty of room for crating and parking. The premium can be found at:
We also have an added bonus for that weekend! On the morning of June 21, Debi Hutchinson (Pawzazz) will be presenting a seminar from 9-12 on groundwork and handling at Gamblers Choice (same facility as the trial). You can attend the seminar only or you can come to the seminar and then stay for our trial to try your new skills! Working slots will be limited, so please contact us now if you are interested in attending at :
Many of you know Debi and her impressive credentials and skill sets. For those of you who don't please see the bio below:
Debi has been professionally involved in dogs for over 25 years. Prior to her canine training career, she taught at the Maryland School for the Deaf as a behavioral specialist for deaf children with multi-handicaps. Debi now specializes in teaching Dog Agility and she competes in agility with her own dogs. Debi has titled dogs in NADAC, USDAA, and AKC.
In learning her craft, Debi has taught, titled, and qualified many breeds. The list of breeds she has successfully titled includes: All Americans, Beagles, English Cockers, Golden Retrievers, Akitas, Border Collies, American Eskimos, McNabís, Shetland Sheepdogs, Wheaten Terriers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Labrador Retrievers. Her classes include dogs of all heritages and she enjoys working with dogs who are not among the most popular agility breeds.
Debiís personal achievements include being among the top contenders (top 3) in her classes at several NADAC Championships; twice winning her division at the NADAC Championships, most recently with her dog, Gabe, who won the hotly contested 16 inch division. She has had multiple dogs in the NADAC top 10 rankings for their breeds nationally and have won their divisions in ASCA and NADAC at the championships. She also has many students who successfully compete in AKC and CPE.
At the 2013 NADAC Championships, PAWZAZZ Agility, which Debi heads, fielded a wonderful team and many won or placed in their respective divisions. PAWZAZZ was also represented at the AKC Nationals.
Debi is a highly respected instructor who gives seminars both nationally and internationally. She is a wonderful communicator who swiftly picks up on the strengths and weaknesses of individual teams and gives practical instruction and advice for building better futures as teammates. Her own dogs are beloved family members who reflect her caring techniques and her deep respect for their individual personalities and quirks!
