Fun raisers

Where does the money from Fun raisers trials go? To NADAC, and if so what are the funds used for. See these trials around the country and was just wondering where the money goes for these events. Thanks. John

Funraisers are hosted by NADAC themselves, not a local club.  Those entries help to pay for Championships, awards and the promotion of NADAC.

Some areas request that NADAC host a funraiser instead of a local club trial, if the local club can't make enough money to host a trial, but want more NADAC in the area.  We go to many areas that would lose money if they hosted a club.  If NADAC takes a loss on a trial, they still help to grow NADAC agility until the entries get high enough for local clubs to be able to break even with higher entries.  There are many areas of awesome NADAC trials now that started as a "funraiser area" that lost money on each trial for several years until the base was there for local clubs to take over!

Thanks for the info. Do you think the fun raiser up in St. Louis will ever get another club up in that area?

Wasn't looking for another 5 hour drive to trial and yes I see your trials all the time but was looking to keep more in the 3 to 4 hour trip. Just know there was a club in St. Louis at one time. Lisa,Thanks for the info.
