I don't know anything directly but happened to see he was on-line a couple of hours ago.  That can't be all bad.
Last I heard directly was on Sept 1, that he was home but he only said he was VERY tired.

It's me. I posted a post early today but forgot to hit post as it never went though.
I am doing good overall as it has only been a week since I got out of hospital. I am doing a lot of walking and start rehab on Wed. 3 times a week. Still weak and some pain but no pain pills.
The hard thing is walking as I am not a walker but guess I will learn.
Thank you for asking.

Great to hear from you, Don!  As far as walking goes, I think it involves just putting one foot in front of the other, etc.  ;D  You can DO IT!!

Dan,

Just imagine a 4 footed friend (retired status) at the end of a leash & keep on moving.  Best recovery wishes.

Don

My mom had double by-pass surgery 18 months ago at age 87.  She is better than ever now.  She was never much of a walker (unless you counted shopping at the mall) but now walks just about every day.  She started out slow and has progressed to walking about a mile each day.  On days she can't walk because of weather, she goes to the mall and walks there.

Cardiac rehab was tough on her at first, but it was amazing to see how much she progressed by the end of the 10 weeks.

One of the things she told me about 6 months after the surgery was how bad she felt before it and didn't really realize it.  She couldn't believe how much better she felt.  Yes, it was a long recovery, but now she feels great.

Keep going and doing what the doctors say.  If she can do it, so can you!
