2014 Champs Thanks

I want to express my appreciation to the Nadac family for putting on another fun championship.  I am glad I was able to witness so many great teams running those fun courses.

I highly recommend the event.  There is none other like it.

Congratulations to those that made the trek and were able to participate.

Ditto from me too, Ken.  This was the first NADAC Champs for my Dazzle and we had a blast.  Lots of fun seeing people we hadn't seen since 2008 Champs, and it was great to hang out with our local friends and cheer each other on.  The courses had a variety of challenges and boy oh boy was there a lot of raised eyebrows when Round 4 course was set and there was some serious barrel action and back to back weaves.  Dazzle ran clean that round but it wasn't very pretty.  Ha!  I think I will order a T shirt with "We survived Round 4 at NADAC Champs 2014".  Had tons of fun with our Diamonds in the Ruff team and getting a first place in Relay Round 1 was very exciting.  We'll be working hard to improve our teamwork and skills so we'll be ready the for next Champs wherever it might be.

I'm thinking this was one of the smoothest running Championships ever. Behind the scenes may have been mayhem but we sure didn't know about it! Scores and ribbons came out super fast, courses were changed like magic, if we had a question it was answered quickly and we all got out each night in time to have an actual dinner!! Many thanks to Sharon, Becky, Chris, Marge, the Spring family,Karen Merriman, along with the amazing crew of judges, course builders, score keepers, timers and our announcers. My deepest gratitude for all you do to make this such a special event for all of us.

Our "goodie bags" were stuffed with fun and useful things - thanks!!! The "special award" jump bars looked great scattered all over the rings and the awards, as always, were outstanding. I did miss hearing Paul Kirk play his accordion each morning, but adding the Australian national anthem was pretty darn cool.

My extra special thanks to my fellow exhibitors. You came with the great "NADAC Attitude" and kept it throughout. Everyone was happy and excited to be there, everyone kept that positive vibe going and stayed true to the dogs. You guys keep me coming back! You make it the best experience! It's what I always think about when going to Champs.

I would like to add our thanks to everyone who made this a wonderful experience. This was our first time at Champs. Everyone made my husband Stephen feel like part of a great community of dog people. NADAC people are the best!
