Barrel in Chocolate Touchngo
« on: March 26, 2015, 01:16:51 AM »
Is the barrel that is in Chocolate Touchngo bi-directional or do the numbers indicate on which side of the barrel the dog must pass?   Similar question for Chocolate Weavers.

Thanks.

TnG #5 should be taken counter-clockwise, and #11 should be taken clock-wise.

I would agree that the placement of the number for the barrel in Weavers may be confusing, but it should be a counter-clockwise turn.

If the barrel is taken in the wrong direction is that a 10 point fault?  Just trying to figure out the rules for barrels in NON x-courses.

Taking it in the wrong direction is 10pts for off course
Unless you then go back and take it in the right direction, you also get a 20pt fault for failure to perform.

Analogy:
If your dog goes around a jump and back jumps it, that is a 10pt fault. If you then don't also have the dog jump it in the right direction, you also get a 20pt failure to perform fault.

Does the dog need to go completely around the barrel (360) before going on to the next obstacle, or just pass on the correct side?

Just on the right side. At most it would be a 180 turn.
