Welcome to the forum!
« on: April 11, 2012, 12:06:14 PM »
I wish to welcome everyone to the new forum!  We will support the forum and the Yahoo list both for a couple months and then eventually switch everything to this forum if it continues to work as great as it is now!

I look forward to working with this new positive change for NADAC!

As someone who is not very computer savvy, I was very intimidated at first, but I did get the hang of it with a little poking around, and now that I've watched Chris's video and found out how to go right to the new messages...I'm a completely happy camper!

Thanks, Chris and Sharon!

I think the forum is terrific.  I do hope everyone gives it a whirl.  Chris has clearly invested a lot of time and effort and the forum seems to have many benefits

Wow, very easy to use and operates surprisingly fast even on my agonizingly slow dialup connection.  I like it!
The rss feed with my mac looks promising too and was so easy to do with Stefan's directions.
Will the seminar list be moving over here eventually too?

Thank you Sharon for this venue to chat with other NADAC folks. I am going to be much, much more likely to participate over here than on the Yahoo Group.

I look forward to getting to know all of you!

I just joined the Forum yesterday and am not sure what I think yet.  I am definitely not computer savvy, and don't have speakers with my old computer.  For me I'm afraid this is going to be a challenge.  Will have to wait and see I guess.

From someone who likes things in "digest" form....I think this is great. After just this morning having to scroll scroll scroll (and then scroll some more...ARGH!) through a post on the Yahoo group's digest that someone forgot to snip, I must say I'm a happier camper with the forum.

I have a question for Chris: Is there a way to get/find a spell check on here?? That little gizmo would make me supremely happy!

OK, here's a really stupid question...how do I put the *picture* of the "happy face" here??

Yup eventually.     it's pretty easy to add boards and membergroups so when I have a spare moment I will get it loaded up :)

(1)  Spell check is a definite option.    I will have to explore it later (leaving for an assignment right now).    But that should be a easy add on.

The smiley faces are right above the text box that you type in for your replies.   You just click on them and it will insert it wherever you are located at the time  8)  :o  ;D

I"m not Chris, but I'm using Firefox and have Office 2007 on my computer. I have spell check on everything. I just tried with IE, no spellcheck.
I'm guessing that it must be the use of Firefox that lets me have a spellchecker.
