Rubber Mating
« on: June 09, 2012, 04:54:05 PM »
Just wanted to say that the GOAL NADAC group now has the rubber matting approved by NADAC on there contacts. Want to say Thank You very much to Sarah Fix. Followed her instruction and advice as far as materials needed and it was very painless. Took right under 4 hours and used 1 3/4 gallons of adhesive. Had 2 of us working on it and if it is sticking at the end of our trial in July I will say we followed instruction well. What do you use to mark the contacts and how far up on each obstacle do you mark them. Figured I would use duct tape but should it be white? Thanks.John

White or yellow duct tape is good.    The top of the tape on the ramps should be at 42" for the dogwalk and the a-frame.  I buy the duct tape that is designed for outside use. It seems to stick better. I usually replace the tape at the beginning of each trial.
