Trial Results Spreadsheets???

I have been patently waiting for May trial results file to turn up on the yahoo group. Have you changed the procedure for results verification? Where should we look for trial results before they are incorporated into the official points history?

I see that my dogs points are already in their points history but I never got a chance to verify or not.

They are now being integrated right in with the main points file.

The main reason this wasn't done before was because of the amount of time it took to do this, and we wouldn't want to take the time to integrate points then have to change them after they got verified.   Now we have a bunch of handy code that does all the leg work.

So any new points will show up directly alongside your old points.

Even though the new points get merged right into your previous points, you still have 30 days after they are merged to verify them and contact trial secretaries if any results are incorrect.  We are preparing a new upload this weekend.

That sounds much easier for you guys!!! Is there any way to change the appearance of the Points History? e.g. to sort by date or by trial. It is hard to find recent things looking under individual titles. I have only got a few Qs this year so it's not such a big deal but some of the SuperStars must be struggling to read their files.....

The easiest way is by accessing the member section and doing a search in there.   I made a video showing how to navigate that section and also do searches, which is pretty handy.




Otherwise you would need to download the points as a csv file and do it that way.    Which is sort of the point, trying to make the member section a 'bonus' area with better options

How do I know when they are merged, other than doing a point lookup on a daily basis? When are merges usually done?

Chris, that doesn't help much. Is there something that identifies the new topic that identifies an upload? Where is the most recent post indicating an upload?

Isn't going anywhere.

And that point list is the exact same one as this site now.  For awhile it wasn't, they weren't linked.  But once we got comfortable with the new system they became linked so now any changes are immediate on the main site.

A new upload with all results submitted through this past weekend is being preparted as we speak!  I have about 4 hours left on it and then I will send to Chris!
