Yes, but if I was over 60 my dog could take an additional 4". I would love to see an optional 4" reduction for my dogs (like a veteran handler's dog has) in addition to skilled. 4" isn't a lot but I would rather jump my dogs at 12" their whole lives than 16" until they are 7. Does that make sense?
Essentially, I'm asking if anyone had ever considered an 8" reduction in jump height option for folks that wish to take it for their dogs whole life. I understand that the idea behind veteran skilled class is to give the handlers and dogs more time. I don't particularly care about more time, but I do care about my dogs jumping 4" they wouldn't have to if I was older.
