The triple superior award says that skilled and proficient points are combined for Novice and Open but not for Elite.  Is this accurate?  I thought that at this point skilled and proficient points were interchangeable.

just confirming - There are no ALL AROUND, VERSATILITY, SUPERIOR VERSATILITY or TRIPLE SUPERIOR awards given to Intro dogs? 

If not - I'd like to ask why not?

I just haven't had time to add them.  I did respond to someone that yes, Intro is included in all same awards as any other level.

I will get it done, hopefully today.

All Around, Triple Superior, and Versatility at also at the Intro levels.  The All Around and Superior Versatility do not include Intro.

Now that my young dog is getting into the elite division I've noticed the DRI row on his points cart has numbers. He has one 102.26 which then has a P-1 in the platinum row. I know there is some special award for runs over 100. Really don't understand what the DRI is actually. Is there a explanation somewhere,or can someone tell me. Thanks for the help Sandy Langan

I have had to search out an explanation of DRI several times, but I think I finally get it.  The Dog Run Index (DRI) is computed every three months, based on actual runs of dogs during that period of time.  If you score over 100, you are probably in the top 5% of dogs in your height category that ran during that time period; so 102 is a great score.  The P-1 means that you have one leg toward the Platinum Speed Star, which is explained in the list of titles and awards link that Sharon posted.

what is O-IJC and S-IJC?
I think I can extrapolate the rest from that.

If I read the rules right, VT runs count for everything EXCEPT that half of NATCH titles have to be at a "real trial", correct?

Thank you so much for this program, it is fun, which is what agility should be and for someone whose primary activity is SAR and can't make trials because of training, it allows us to play along!

If you notice, all the classes at all levels have the -O and -S addition after earning more points in each class at the same level. The O stands for Outstanding, the S stands for Superior. Staying in a class at each level is never required once you earn the "basic" title with 30 points. However, by continuing to compete at the same level you earn these advanced titles, outstanding and superior. By staying and earning Superior titles you are able to qualify for NADAC awards--Triple Superior (Superior titles in Regular, Chances, and Jumpers), Superior Versatility (superior titles in Reg, Chances, Jumpers, Touch and Go, Tunnelers, and Weavers) and All Around (all the last list plus Hoopers).  The choice is always yours, but I love earning my awards (most clubs also recognize these achievements with rosettes, some of which are Huge--the only ribbons I take any more) and for me anyway, I appreciate the opportunity for the dog and I to continue learning at each level while working for a goal. Neither of us have EVER been ready to advance to the next level after only 3 Qs!!
