I am not in a club so I guess I dont get rossettes. Bummer because im one those funny people who love ribbons and certificates :) I didnt see a NADAC store, is there an option to purchase rosettes for folks who are not in a club?

And yes i plan om staying at intro. My handling needs to improve and also i get very confused on courses. It is getting easier but intros i still sometimes run wrong! Oops

So...
IJC = intro jumpers champion? (we just got another Q so that's 30 points so Edraith has that!)
what is O-IJC and S-IJC?
I think I can extrapolate the rest from that.

Thanks! Love the pdf, the doc wasn't working for me either.

If I read the rules right, VT runs count for everything EXCEPT that half of NATCH titles have to be at a "real trial", correct?

Thank you so much for this program, it is fun, which is what agility should be :) and for someone whose primary activity is SAR and can't make trials because of training, it allows us to play along!

IJC would stand for Intro Jumpers Class.

You don't need to belong to a club to get the rosette. Many if not most people at a trial, at least in the places where I've lived/competed, don't usually belong to the host club. And some "hosts" are not clubs with "members" at all.  The rosettes, if offered, go to any competitors at the trial. Sometimes it's mentioned in the premium that they offer rosettes for awards, sometimes at briefings they will ask if anyone is close to an award, or mention that they have rosettes for the big awards...but even if they don't mention it, if you earn one, ask someone about it.  They're happy to reward your success, sometimes even pausing the trial for a photo with you, your dog, and the judge.  And I know of one group who, if you happen to Finish a big award at a trial that doesn't offer rosettes, will let you purchase at cost one of theirs after the fact. No photo op but a nice big rosette to mark your accomplishment. A lot of great people in NADAC. I know you're just getting started, but look forward to having a Great Time!
And don't worry about those "oops, ran the wrong way!" moments. We've all had them, and for many of us each move up in level will cause those moments to return in frequency. That's why I like feeling "solid" at a level before moving up.  So nobody watching cares when you forget a course, nobody is judging you--and if you keep your wits a little bit (hard to do...but for me it gets easier now that I've screwed up enough times :-) and don't let your dog know a mistake has been made, just try to stay smooth and find a nice way to "finish" the run connected with your dog, sometimes people will tell you Great Job...and Mean It!

And sometimes we run the course wrong AFTER we've run it correct! One time I ran 3 dogs in Touch N Go, Beta, so 6 runs of the same course. I was great the first 4 times... and got lost the 5th time ;) And just this past weekend, the second time on a regular course (beta), I told my dog an off course... and managed to call him off in time (good doggy!) but then caused another off course because my brain was scrambled lol. As long as you and your dog are having fun, that's all that matters! People cheer great runs, even if it's not anywhere near the correct course. NADAC sure has some wonderful people in it!

All of this, however also be aware that many clubs (at least here) have them 'self-serve' for the regular Q and placements and that means you need to find the table and go collect your ribbons yourself :P

Thanks to everyone for the updated files and info! We have several people at the training center I use that are Intro level and have lots of questions! I was wondering about that DRI and some of the Elite level awards too. Love showing NADAC! :) Pam & Fletch

If I have competed my dog in the  elite skilled category does that mean I can not earn a NATCH? Someone told me a natch has to be achieved at the Proficient level only, which for him would be 16 inches.
Also if I want to change to a veteran handler, (I am over 60) but still have my dog jump 12 inches do I switch to the proficient since he really measures to jump 16 inches (which is why I have done skilled to this point, I don't want him to jump 16inches just 12) If so do my points transfer?

ALL of your points combine and count toward a NATCH whether they are Skilled, Proficient, Vet dog and/or Vet Handler.

Yes if your dog measures for a normal 16 " jump height, to jump 12" you enter Either as skilled or as Proficient with Vet handler

Correct!  Or she could enter as a Skilled, Vet Handler team and jump 8" and take even more stress of the dog's joints.

My apologies if this is not the place to ask but on NADAC site, with regard to titles it states "Title certificates will be printed, laminated and sent to those who submit the Certificate Request Form on the Title History Report page." however, when I go there, I can not find a Certificate Request Form, just a print option.  Can you direct me to the Certificate Request Form?  Thanks!

That is being updated.  You can print your own title certificates at the link below.
http://www.nadac.com/newtitles.htm

You can also print Special Awards Certificate via the follow link:
http://www.nadac.com/spawards.htm

Both links are on the NADAC web site under "Titles and Awards"

Yes, I have a friend whose Whippet has 6 Natches and 3 Versatility Natches, also making him a member of the NADAC Hall of Fame.

How does a dog get on the top 10 list?  I have a wheaten terrier that has points in all the classes.  There is one wheaten listed on the top 10 for 2016 which is not me.  What to know why I don't qualify for this.
