2016 NADAC teams
« on: February 25, 2016, 07:49:00 PM »
We have several teams signed up for the 2016 Team competition.  Some very great dogs and handlers.  I have to admit that there was a team form that came in that made me laugh on and off for hours that day!  Those that know me also know that I make many comments about Lassie and her owner Timmy.  Many of those comments have to do with whether or not Timmy is in the well or in the mine shaft and of course, Lassie will go save him.

Then this team consisting of three collies from three different areas of the US teamed together and submitted their team forms with the name "Timmy Was Pushed" as the team name.  That caused a ton of laughter from me!

I was just starting to design a new set of courses and I named them "Timmy" just because I couldn't stop smiling about the great creativity from these three team members.

After I told them how amusing and creative I thought they were, they sent me a photo of their team shirt, which is also something that made me laugh and smile!  (attached)

Then one of the team members ran in a trial the next weekend and Yep!, you guessed it!  She ran on the course named Timmy!

I am so impressed with the awesome efforts put out by this team and their true image of what "team" means!

I hope that others will take on the challenge of creating a team and showing what a true team spirit is!

Sharon

I have a question about forming another team ... we have two team members who are in elite x-hoopers and barrelers, and one who needs a q to advance to elite x-hoopers.  Should we just form the team, and then her points would only start to accrue when she is able to move up?

Thanks!
work it ... own it ... believe it!

Correct, the points earned after they advance to Elite would be counted.
