Veteran Dogs
« on: April 19, 2016, 06:56:15 AM »
I was told that starting in April, 2016, veteran dogs would have different standard course times or would be competing only against other veterans.   I sure hope this is true.

Thanks for any info.

All dogs have more time in Weavers, Jumpers and Touch N Go as of April, 2016.  In June of 2016, Veteran dogs can enter all non-jumping classes as a Veteran dog.

Great change!!  Will this require another software update?  If so, any idea on when the update will be available?  We have a June trial...

What is the status of this change?  I'm working on my October trial premium and would like to include the vet dog option for the non-jumping classes.  I don't see this rule change reflected in any of the fall trial premiums I am seeing.

It was changed in July.  It is possible those premiums were approved before the update.  Every club I have seen has allowed those changes.

Just want to confirm because I think our entry form that was just approved is wrong.

We should have vet/vet handler for all classes?

Does that include Barrelers & X Hoopers?

Is Junior Handler allowed in all classes?

yes to all if you have updated your software to the current version.
