Course Builders Jean McCreight, Carla Van Siclen and Jimmy Steele got the courses built quickly so we got lots of runs done with plenty of time left to party after the trial.
We had a total of 160 INTRO level runs!! Great to see so many new dogs (and a few OLD ones) getting in to the game - or back in to it! Intro is such a GREAT class! And there was lots of cheering and support for these dog and handler teams!
Major Milestones included: Rachelle Jensen and MISEAU earning 10,000 NADAC points and Jodi Dillard and RUBY earned V-NATCH-5 and NATCH 5!! Crystal Young and DURANGO had amazing Bonus Line run that if approved could qualify them for Stakes at Champs! Bob Ruble and SILVIE earned Novice SUPERIOR VERSATILITY AWARD!!
High in Trial Winners: Elite Bonnie Fauskee and JAKE from Powell, WY, Open Rachelle Jensen and GAEMER from SD, Novice Kim Olsen and TOHRMENT from Billings, Intro Carla Van Siclen and JULIE from Billings, Non-Herding Crystal Young and DURANGO from Livingston, Mixed Breed Jodi Dillard and RUBY from Sheridan.
Superstar Special Awards: Amanda Nelson and NARGLES had fastest Elite YPS of the weekend and Donna Dugger and CHASE were the fastest qualifiers in a SUPER tough Novice Extreme Barrels class. Out of 39 Novice runs in that class, there were only FOUR qualifiers and CHASE had the fastest clean run!
