Things to do in Ohio
« on: July 30, 2017, 03:01:56 PM »
So, after CHAMPS week Tim, I and the Furry Kois Boys are thinking of staying in the Ohio area for a weeks vacation.  We are traveling in a motorhome.  Looking for suggestions of a good campground/RV park to stay at and things to do for us and the boys.  Only place I know of is Sandusky :-D  We like to walk, bike, eat out and relax.  Thanks for any suggestions !!!

A couple months (or maybe more..) ago the WA Post did a travel article about Columbus. I saved it "somewhere"   It it's not at my fingertips, but you can probably find it online.

Hi Nancy,  Laughing Dog Agility has a NADAC trial in Autaugaville, Alabama, (just outside Montgomery, the state capitol) on October 20, 21, & 22, and we would love to have you come play with us.  You could wander on down here to Alabama after Champs.  We have a great facility and lots of fun.  Info is on the NADAC Calendar of events or at laughingdogagility.org.  Hope to see you then.

Kings Island amusement park is not far from Columbus. They have the classic The Beast roller coaster, which lasts over 4 minutes, among other rides and shows. They're only open on weekends in October, but it will probably be some kind of Halloween theme, if you are into that.
