Thank you for the start line rule change. I have a dog that gets nervous at times and won't leave the start line. At a recent trial, I took two steps and realized she had gone into frozen mode, and I returned to encourage her to go (without touching her) and she took off and had a perfect Elite Regular run. The judge gave me an E for the run. I told him that I should not have been eliminated for training the start line because it was obvious I was not training - just trying to encourage my dog out of her frozen mode. He told me he knew I was NOT training the start line, but was forced to make the call because the way the rules were written. So, thank you for making that rule fair.
