Rule adjustments
« on: October 28, 2017, 08:07:58 AM »
Hey Folks,

Little video detailing some rule adjustments we've made.
PLEASE remember that we said back in May any rule changes that affect everyone in a positive way would go into effect immediately.
Anything that effects folks negatively would have a 6 month warning before it went into effect.

Thank you for the start line rule change.  I have a dog that gets nervous at times and won't leave the start line.  At a recent trial, I took two steps and realized she had gone into frozen mode, and I returned to encourage her to go (without touching her) and she took off and had a perfect Elite Regular run.  The judge gave me an E for the run.  I told him that I should not have been eliminated for training the start line because it was obvious I was not training - just trying to encourage my dog out of her frozen mode.  He told me he knew I was NOT training the start line, but was forced to make the call because the way the rules were written.  So, thank you for making that rule fair.
