VT Run Submissions
« on: July 17, 2012, 11:32:29 AM »
Howdy Everyone,

You may notice there is a new button in the toolbar right now.    It's the one that says Video Runs.

Go ahead and hover over it and you will see two options that drop down.  One is for submitting new runs to be judged and scored(You can also pay for them instantly through Paypal) and the other is for viewing runs.

Handy as can be and should make this whole process much simpler.    I do not have the time today to write/record a full walk through.  But the good news is that it's very user friendly and really all you need to do is throw in your info and follow the instructions.

I will write a 'how to' when time is more prevalent.

A huge thanks goes out to Stefan who built and tested this system.   It works wonderfully and is a great addition :)

Cheers

Awesome- thanks Chris!

Are you going to be moving any of the past runs to this database, or is this "henceforth"?

Until Chris has had the chance to write the how-to, there is a video describing the beta version of the VT-submission system should you need instructions: and also one for the Viewing module:

The viewing module should be self-explanatory, but note that you have to specify at least one search criteria, or it will refuse to list any videos (to trick it, you can specify the current date as the "through date", and nothing else -- all videos would satisfy that).
