2018 Associate Dues
« on: January 02, 2018, 09:57:45 AM »
Happy New Year!

Can we pay our Associate Dues via PayPal?  I believe I have in the past but wanted to double check.  Also what e-mail address would we use, as that may have changed.

Thank you!

Do we need to fill in the Application Form if we are just renewing, or can we just put our Membership # in the paypal text box?

I see an FAQ that says "Associate membership fees are $15 for one year, $35 for 3 years or $50 for 5 years"  Is this still correct?

Thank you,
Brenda

You can use PayPal directly, or you can use the renewal form.    Either way works and is about the same amount of work for us :)

The costs are:
1 Year = $15
3 Years = $35
5 Years = $50

I did both - used the renewal form then realized paypal was an option and paypaled - but I put my associate number in the note section so hopefully things get synched up.

Thanks for the reminder.  I sent by Paypal with a note that it's for renewal and our number.  I hope that works.

Hi Chris
I just tried to login to the Associate Area, and since I can't remember my password, I clicked on Forgot Password.  WHen I put in my email address, I get
SMTP connect() failed.

I received an email today saying my associate membership has expired. But when I last renewed, I renewed for 5 years and my membership card says it expires 2021-02-07. My membership number is MJ877. Could someone please clarify this for me?

Thanks

Same here. Rec’d a renewal notice—which IS a wonderful thing, if it’s correct—-but have my card in front of me that says my membership expires 1/2021.

Interesting is in 2016 I renewed for 5 years so my expiration should have (and did show as until today) be 2021.   Now it says my associate membership expired on 1/1/18-

Hey Folks,

It appears the issue for the majority of folks having this issue is duplicate records.      Basically our system is in desperate need of an update, which is in progress but hasn't gone through yet.

The main reason for the update is that if it can't EXACTLY match new records it just creates a new associate line for that person.    This can happen during renewals or new dog registrations.

Normally I catch these and merge the files together, but there was a specific instance that I wasn't checking for that allowed some to slip through.

So we're correcting these now!    The expiration on your card is the accurate one :)

So just give it a day or two and all will be well

I should have checked my card before renewing, but I didn't.  I also saw that my info on line said my membership had expired on 1/1/18.  I'm now a member until 2027  :-\
