You can join a team with two other people,  so a three person team.

The team event for this year will consist of cumulative scores from rounds 1 through 5, with a relay round occurring after Round 6 on Sunday which will count for 50% of the teams score for the week.

There are ribbons and awards just like the other divisions :)

After Round 6 on Sunday?  Is that something different?  Because usually Round 6 is the 2nd round on Saturday and Round 7 is on Sunday ...

Glad to see a relay is involved!  So much more exciting.

Another team question:  What "divisions" will there be, or can anyone (any dog) be on a team with anyone else?
(e.g., will there be a VH/vet dog division, or can a vet dog be on a team with a non-vet; etc.)

Thanks!

Same divisions as champs,   So standard, vet dog, vet handler, junior handler and pre-elite.

All dogs on the team have to be in the same division

How do we enter the team event?  Do the dogs on a team have to jump the same height?

In that case, my JH needs some other JH for his team!

Since you have a comma between vet dog and vet handler, does that mean those are 2 different divisions this year?  Or will it be like past years when one division is VD/VH ??

We announced last year we would separate them.  So yes they are separate this year and we’ll see how it goes.

Their will be a entry form on the champs page here soon :)

Your team mates do not have to jump the same height,  just the same division.

If there are jumps in the relay then it works like flyball where everything is set to the lowest height dog on your team

I will say here that we probably won’t open up team entries until after general entries close.

Because right now we don’t know what we’ll have for divisions.   If there aren’t enough people to warrant having those separate team divisions then we’ll have to combine them.

So it’s going to be a hurry up and wait scenario

Somewhere, I saw something about being "creative with your outfits".  Where does this come into play?  Can they be worn during the team relay event in the ring?  Just curious, because I love to do this sort of thing (I've run in  a bathing suit in the ring-both a full piece and a bikini!!!)
