4 runs per day at FUN-raisers in Bend?
« on: May 14, 2018, 05:53:19 PM »
Hi - I notice that the premium for this past weekend's trial at NADAC HQ in Bend listed just 4 runs per day. Will there be 4 runs per day for this summer's trials too? I remember some trials last summer had 4 runs per day, but I thought it was mostly on Fridays or Mondays; I may be mistaken.

I was hoping to take a few day trips to Bend this summer to try to work on Qs in jumping classes. Next to my own club, which currently offers 1 mixed trial per year, Bend is the closest NADAC trial location for me. The other local-ish club that did NADAC held their final NADAC trial last month. I also do CPE -- and our area is flush with CPE, AKC, and USDAA trials -- but NADAC is my first choice, all things being equal. However, driving 2.5 hours each way for 4 runs doesn't quite seem worth it.

Thanks,

We offer four rounds of jumping classes per day.  We aren't offering the non-jumping classes only because we are all old women who can't haul tunnel bags around anymore.

Thanks, Sharon. I'm only interested in Regular, Chances, and Jumpers, so in that sense your plan works for me. WAG-OR does 2 games trials per year so I have ample opportunity for those classes. I really do wish you were offering 6 classes per day for these trials. I've heard as much from other competitors here in the valley who expressed interest in trials in Bend this summer but then backed off when they learned it's 4 classes per day. It's at least 2.5 hours each way for any of us coming over to the east side.

Best,

Cheryl
