remote temperature alerts

Does anyone have or have heard of any good remote temperature alert systems that can be used in the RV?
I want something I can take with me shopping etc.... so need something that is wireless and will send me text or email alerts.

I have found a few online that are about $300.   I would really like a good recommendation before i  purchase.

I was looking around too, Lisa.  the one on CleanRun only has a range of 330ft.

To get one for my car since we are starting to see more trials where we can park close enough to work out of our vehicles.  Also to be able to go to dinner afterwards with the dogs in the car.

Please share any responses with me

It is simple to use, though pricey.  I figure my dogs are worth it!
I've used it probably close to 1/4 mile outside with no problems.
They are also very helpful if you have problems.
Doesn't rely on a cell phone, which I like.
The pager is smaller than most pedometers.
