Thank you to all the agility folks who competed and worked at Four Paws Rule's Spring Fling at the Jewett residence in Otis Orchards, Washington, on June 2-3, 2018!

Our Brag Board was full:
Archer & Linda Thompson: Intro Chances title and Intro Regular title
Betty Boop & Chris Painter: Outstanding Novice Jumpers title
Brady Blue & Carol Scranton: NATCH 15 award
Harrie & April Weber: 15,000 Life Points award (April writes: "So, if you figure $10/10-point Q, that's $10,000 in entries ... ")
Jack & Patti Barrett: Outstanding Elite Weavers title
Panda & Molly Walgren: Intro Regular title
Remy & Megan Bauer: Novice Touch n Go title
Tucker & Stephanie Walgren: Open Hoopers title and Open Barrelers title
Wyn & April Weber: Open Weavers title and Open Versatility award

Ed Scharringhausen traveled from Texas to judge our trial, and he was helpful and encouraging to all (plus he brought us up to date on NADAC changes).  Trial secretary Dorothy Bowers was speedy and efficient with entries, run orders, and scores.  Terry Jewett had the grass in great condition.  Gordon Jewett grilled delicious hamburgers for our barbecue, while Sydney Chambers chilled us out with alcoholic and non-alcoholic basil-jalapeno margaritas.  Karen Egbert supplied wonderful cooking at the barbecue and throughout the trial.

Our competitors and observers brought great attitudes, good sportsmanship, potluck dishes, and willing hands to help with all kinds of tasks.  Thank you to everyone who participated and made our trial a success.  We hope you had fun!

We will post the expected run order of events for each day at our upcoming Ring of Fire trial on August 25-26, 2018, just as soon as we have had a chance to consult with our judge. (Hopefully, that will be within the week. The events themselves are already posted on the NADAC trial calendar.)  We hope to see you there.

I did not do the monetary math.  I would never do monetary math with respect agility. As an economist, I would have to consider the large amount of positive externalities not captured by dollar amounts.

The computation was added by others who made an assumption that greatly overestimated our qualifying rate.
