Tag a Favorite Post

Does anyone know if there's a way I can tag an individual message as a favorite so I can easily find it again without searching?  Bookmarking the page seems to work, but I was just wondering if there's a way to do it within the forum.

Kind of.

You can click on 'notify'.   That will alert you of new posts.  And it also places it in a special folder in your notifications tab in your profile.

I am also spending today on adding a few features to the forum.   I will add this to the list

Take a look now.

There should be a button that says 'Add bookmark'.     That will add it.

Then on your toolbar there is a button that says 'My bookmarks'.

This way you can save topics that you want to remember.   There is no option to bookmark individually posts.    And I can't find anything where that would be an option.   But this is better than nothing!

I don't seem to have the Add Bookmark button.  All I see are Reply, Notify, Mark Unread, Send This Topic, and Print...

Does your screen layout look like the picture below?    If the layout is different it could be a theme issue, which I should be able to fix.

Nope.  I have fewer options:  Help, Search, Profile, My Messages, Logout

I do not have it either!  I am still using the default layout.

Chris I changed between all the themes and none gave me the bookmark button

No luck tonight.  I will give it another whirl tomorrow.  For now the only way will be what I outlined below:

Ah ha!   Victory!

We now have bookmarks.   I was just ready to head off to bed when the light bulb turned on.

We also have a spell checker too!

And it still works this morning!!!  Sometimes those things disappear overnight, but I still have both Add a Bookmark and Spell Check.  Thanks Chris1
